Journal History
DEPLOY: Journal of Informatics and Computing Technology was founded in 2026 by CV. Naistudio in response to the need for a publication venue dedicated to implementation-oriented informatics research.
The journal grew out of a simple observation: much informatics research in Indonesia stops at the prototype stage and is never tested in genuine conditions of use. The name DEPLOY was chosen to state that position: the journal encourages authors to move from design toward deployment and field evaluation.
The inaugural issue, Volume 1 Issue 1, was released in September 2026, containing 5 articles from 2 institutions. From the outset, DEPLOY has operated double-blind peer review, Crossref DOI registration, and a full open access model.
Milestones
- 2026: Journal established; editorial board and reviewer panel formed.
- 2026: e-ISSN [xxxx-xxxx] obtained; Crossref DOI prefix [10.xxxxx] registered.
- September 2026: Publication of Volume 1 Issue 1.
- 2026: Indexed in Google Scholar, Crossref, and Garuda.
- 2027: SINTA national accreditation and DOAJ application submitted.
